Blogger & Content Publisher (Education Domain)

Key Responsibilities

• Write informative and SEO-friendly blogs related to NIOS, CBSE, IGNOU, DU SOL, and student guidance.
• Upload and format content directly on the MVS Foundation website using WordPress or any CMS platform.
• Research trending educational topics and create engaging blog calendars.
• Collaborate with the academic and marketing teams to align content with student needs.
• Optimize blogs with keywords, images, meta tags, and internal links.
• Monitor blog performance (views, SEO rankings, engagement) and improve as needed.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Journalism, Mass Communication, Education, or a related field.
• Candidates with strong writing portfolios may be considered even without a degree in these fields.

Preferred Experience

• 1+ years of experience in blogging, content writing, or digital publishing (internship or freelance work counts).
• Experience writing for education-based websites, ed-tech companies, or academic blogs is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with WordPress, Blogger, or any Content Management System (CMS).
• Basic understanding of SEO (keywords, headers, image tags, meta descriptions).

Preferred Candidate Profile

• Strong writing skills in both English and Hindi (for bilingual blogs).
• Background in education or familiarity with NIOS, IGNOU, CBSE, DU SOL, UGC NET, or CUET.
• Ability to create MCQ-type questions is a big plus.
• Ability to do independent research and create original content.
• Responsible, deadline-driven, and proactive.
• Ability to use tools like Canva, Grammarly, Google Docs, and Google Search Console (bonus).

Salary / Compensation

• Based on experience and skillset (₹12,000–₹25,000/month or project-based for freelancers).
