b) 'Maharashtra is the leading producer of cotton textile in the country. Mumbai has been the major centre of textile mills. About a half of the Cotton textile mills are still located in Mumbai alone. Because of this reason, it is also called as 'Cottonpolis' of India.' Justify the statement by giving any four arguments.

5. Answer any one of the following questions in about 100 -150 words.

a) On the basis of Figure 21.5 (India: Density of Population - 2011), mark the density and density zone of your state. Give any two reason of the density found in your state.

b) 'Sanitation is a way of life.' Justify the statement by giving any four arguments.

6. Prepare any one project out of the given below:

a) Identify any two industries located in your nearby areas. Talk to elders in your family or in your neighbourhood to find the reason behind location of these industries in your area i.e sources of raw material, market etc. Now, on the basis of your findings prepare a report on location of these two industries.

b) Conduct a survey of atleast 10 households in your neighborhood to identify the use of any medicinal plant by them. Collect the information in given format :
Analyse the information collected and prepare a report on the 'Use of Medicinal Plants in My Area'.
